Sweet Experiences of the Lord Meeting With the Church in Nashville, C.C.

I am a 23 year old who has decided to live my life fully unto service to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. After finishing my Bachelor’s degree at St. John’s University in NY, I went on to get my Master’s Degree at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee. When I moved to Tennessee, I sought for a church that was founded on the truths of the Bible and with members who lived with Christ as their Head and focus.

It was in Nashville that I came to meet with a group of believers whose living matched the pattern set by the apostles’ teaching in the New Testament (Acts 2:42). My experiences of the Lord with the dear brothers and sisters meeting with the local church in Nashville was so sweet. It was with them that I discovered that the Lord is moving on the earth through His believers to build up His unique corporate expression, the Body with Himself as the Head (Ephesians 1:23;4:12-16)!

I really appreciated how all the believers take care of one another in a sincere way. They get knit together through prayer and fellowship. I also enjoyed the function of each member (Romans 12:4-5). Each Lord’s Day, the believers share their portion of the Lord in the way of a corporate fellowship meeting (Colossians 1:12). Everyone has the opportunity to speak concerning what the Lord touched them with. It is such a blessing to have this speaking from others in order to more fully touch the Lord. We are all so different and the Lord touches each one of us in different ways, so we build up one another when each believer shares his or her experiences.

Most of all, I was drawn by Christ in each believer. They worship the Lord Jesus in such a real, living way. Each meeting is led by the Lord and is for the Lord. They have such strong faith.

I truly believe that the Lord led me to enter into this glorious church life to experience the living Body of Christ practically.
